Minimum order quantity is rarely about the cell. It is about everything printed: a stock model in stock packaging can go out in small quantities, while a private-label run has to justify an artwork setup, a print plate and a dedicated carton. That is where the minimum comes from.

Lead time works the same way. Thirty days is our average, and on a repeat order of a stock model it is mostly production and inspection. On a first private-label run, a good part of the calendar is spent waiting for artwork approval — which is the one part of the schedule you control.

So the fastest way to shorten both is to settle branding and pack format early, and to keep the first order to a model already in the range.

Use this checklist

  • Printing and tooling drive the minimum, not the cell
  • Artwork approval is usually the longest single step
  • A stock model shortens a first order considerably
  • Ask for MOQ and lead time together — they trade off
