Approving a product sample tells you the cells perform. Approving an artwork proof tells you the box is right. Neither tells you anything about the other, and merging the two checkpoints is how a correct battery ends up in a carton with the wrong barcode.
Keep dated records of the sample, the print proof, the manual, the barcode and the master carton spec. When something goes wrong on a repeat order, that file is how you find out what changed.

- Approve the dieline, print proof and language content
- Verify barcode ownership and the required warnings
- Confirm inner pack and master carton before shipment
